Throughout our career, our mentors, colleagues, friends
and family have told us over and over that we can do it; we have the skills, the
experience and the track record to achieve great things and they believe
in us. They usually have a very
impressive case – we couldn’t be where we are today if we weren’t already
pretty good, could we?
So what is holding us back? Why, despite all of the facts laid out in
front of us, do we sometimes avoid the hard truth rather than take action?
